According to Section 13(a) of our By Laws this is your notice of a Special Membership Meeting for ratification proposes.

An electronic copy of  the Memorandum of Settlement has been emailed to the membership.  There will be two opportunities to vote and arrangements will be made with the branch offices next week.

Time: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Place: KFL&A Public Health – Auditorium A


Date: Thursday, June 21

Time: 5:00 p.m.
Place: Ongwanada – 191 Portsmouth Ave.

CUPE’s Organizing Home Care Pilot Project – Kingston

June 4, 2018

To all CUPE Kingston Area Local Presidents:


CUPE has undertaken an organizing pilot project for organizing home care workers in Kingston and the surrounding area.

This project is currently in its early stages of research and information gathering but as this project unfolds CUPE will be looking for CUPE members who are interested in working on this and possibly any related organizing drives in the area.

Information – Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the CUPE Local 1974 Hall, 680 Innovation Drive, Kingston.
